"Upon my arrival in Anguilla, I was surprised by the enormous number
of goats living here. I swim in Sandy Ground Bay at least twice a week and
there are always goats on the left side of the road going down the hill to
Sandy Ground, all close together like a gathering!
They seem like a
society. One leader, some guardians and the rest always eat or
rest.
I just had to paint this. The colors exist in
the landscape of Anguilla, obviously more subtle. They are exaggerated to my
liking."
