Missing Cocoloba

We were married in 1992 on the pristine property of the then Cocoloba Beach Resort, located on the beautiful Island of Anguilla. Although it was my wedding, I am proud to say that it was one of the best weddings I had ever attended. Cocoloba Resort and its staff went the extra mile to make sure it was a success, and it really was.

An arrangement of tropical flowers (our wedding colors) along with a bottle of chilled wine and an assortment of cheese and crackers awaited us in our cottage overlooking the starlit beach below. We couldn't resist the invitation by the soft tumbling waves to venture out with our bucket of goodies, sip our wine and reminisce about how organized everything was. Cocoloba's staff was simply awesome. We truly did not have to worry about anything. We woke up next morning on the beach around 3:00 AM to a slight drizzle - the only thing Cocoloba could not prevent.

One year later, we were back at Cocoloba for our one year Anniversary, and once again Cocoloba had pulled out all the stops - they prepared a table for two on their famous look out point and lavished us with a scrumptious three course meal as only they could do.

Where are you Cocoloba? Oh how we miss you!

We had a wonderful time there. There were these cottages overlooking the bluff as well as a motel unit in the back. I don't know where our pics. are after a recent move. It was just beautiful. Hurricane Lenny at the time even flooded the Valley. I'm sorry to hear it is gone. I just found this website and already love it!
