Our First Time

We have visited other islands over the years. We were in St. Barths for a few when we heard of this island "Anguilla". We said, "Hey let's give it a try."

When we first arrived, the question was "what do we do?" But then our taxi driver drove us to Shoal Bay. We saw the water... Oh my God what a view! Our question was answered.

That was 20 years ago. We've been coming back ever since, staying at resorts and private homes, doing a little bit of everything. From fine foods to local foods, we love them all. Dancing, too (I agree Calvin is a good dancer!).

The warm friendships on the island bring me home to the States refreshed.

Nori's Reply: You're right, Eileen! A trip to Anguilla is the best way to recharge the batteries. The island's warmth found in its people brings you home revived. The people's kind, inclusive nature has been a gift since moving here. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. They have made our move to the island that much smoother! :-)
