I slightly disagree

The stay in Anguilla (or any Caribbean resort) is all about the “experience”. Viceroy is on the windy side of the island. The beaches are not pleasant to lay on or even play on. The waves are rougher, the shoreline is not that pretty.

Cap Juluca, on the other hand, has one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. And since the beachfront and ocean experience is a big part of what you are traveling to the Caribbean for, shouldn't that weigh heavily?

The food at Cap Juluca is absolutely fantastic. As a matter of fact, their Executive Sous Chef from PIMMS took the Silver medal at the Taste of the Caribbean culinary competition in Miami in June 2011. I challenge you to find better food on Anguilla.

The rooms were recently renovated, but have always had that wonderful, Mediterranean feel. There is nothing like doors that open up to white sand and ocean like theirs do.

All in all, I would gladly argue that Cap Juluca is by far the better overall experience, if not simply for the beach and food alone. But with everything else they offer, a truly superior exerience.
