Beautiful Anguilla Sunset

Beautiful Anguilla Sunset

On my first trip to Anguilla in 1998, my now ex-boyfriend and I, had read about Bankie Banx and his restaurant built out of a boat.

We had a hard time in the dark night finding it (looking back we could've walked, as we were staying at Cap Juluca lol). When we did, the place seemed closed. Out of the darkness came Bankie and said they were closed that night and had no food!

After a lengthy conversation, he and his then girlfriend, scraped up some "leftovers", and we had a MOST delicious meal of ribs, coleslaw, etc.

We spent long hours into the night talking with Bankie, and then he sang some songs for us.

We bought some of his CDs and we were off back into the beautiful night air... and I've been coming back ever since.

The place has grown and flourished. It is a fun place to go for good food and beautiful beach.

I can't wait to return!
