Gwen's Reggae Grill opens today after a rebuilding process and love from the Island, and people abroad. It is well deserved for a woman who is a giver and who has always been so generous to all!!
Nori's Reply Chris, the news that Gwen's had caught fire, and practically burned to the ground, was absolutely devastating.
I'm so glad to hear that Gwen's Reggae Grill is open again. Anguilla is such a warm island where people really pull together. So many people pitched in to make this happen, and quickly!
Gwen's is loved by many...
With the live music, good food, location and hammocks, it's not hard to see why.
Speaking of location, the beach out here (the Eastern side of Shoal Bay) tends to come and go. We went out there recently to try to take a nice stroll, but the beach is virtually gone outside of Gwen's.
Still, the view is pretty, and the waves lap just below Gwen's deck.
We can't wait to lounge in those hammocks again after a tasty lunch on the sands of Shoal Bay (hope the snapper sandwich is still on the menu!). :-)
I know that our family is not alone in our feelings about Gwen's (see the review). Others do, too...
